Energy supplier opens new base in Staffordshire – 14/01/2011
Business energy users and homes in Staffordshire town could soon be powering their buildings with green energy after a renewables firm opened an office there.
According to Thisisbusiness-Staffordshire.co.uk, Eco Environments has chosen Tamworth because there is “considerable interest in renewable energy solutions” in the area, Paul Summers explained.
The head of commercial and domestic property and construction markets for the energy supplier commented: “During the coming months, we will be working closely with home owners in the region while also looking to develop strong strategic partnerships with architects, house builders, social landlords, property developers and business organisations.”
Meanwhile, the Liverpool Daily Post reported that Eco Environments has signed an agreement with wind turbine manufacturer Proven Energy to supply energy-saving products to homes and businesses.
Director David Hunt added: “We are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with Proven, helping the company to take its innovative and exciting range of products to customers.”
More companies are joining the green energy movement to reduce carbon emissions and dependence on non-renewable fuels.
